Ordering
Do you take custom orders?
I will consider a custom order, but only if it's something I feel I can execute easily. Otherwise it turns into a burden. Sometimes it's a fun challenge. Often people will ask me to replicate another artist's work, and that is something I can't do. Every potter uses their own glazes and clay and firing schedule and style. It doesn't hurt to ask me to make something, as long as you're comfortable with receiving a "no." I'm not afraid to tell you if I can't do it.
Do you take wholesale orders?
I generally don't do big orders because I am a one-person operation and sell most of what I make, but please get in contact with me if you have an inquiry.
Can I include a gift message with my order?
Of course! Just let me know in the notes section the full name of the person receiving the gift and your message to that person.
Cancellations and Returns
I don't accept cancellations or returns, but please let me know if you're dissatisfied with your order and I'll work with you.
Shipping
Local Pickup
If you're local to DC, I offer pickup at my studio. Just send me a message and we'll work it out.
Damages
I double box most of my orders and pack very carefully, but occasionally a piece will arrive broken. If this happens, please email me with a picture of the broken piece with 3 days of delivery and I will refund your order including shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
I hate to say this, but every time I try to send an item far, the shipping is way too expensive and not worth it for the customer. So I don't offer international shipping. I will send items to Canada.
Delays
Once a piece has left my shop, it's out of my control. Delays in shipping need to be handled with USPS or UPS, depending on the carrier.
Product Information
Glazes
I use commercial glazes made by Coyote Clay and Laguna. All pieces are fired to Cone 5 or 6 in my kiln. They can go the microwave and dishwasher. Just take extra care with them and they will last longer.
